Applications (new window) are live for the 2016 KI Fall Organizing Internship! The KI Organizing Internship provides an opportunity for Georgetown students to observe the impact of community and labor organizing, support and contribute to ongoing worker justice campaigns and projects, and develop their own organizing skills through the day-to-day experience of the internship.
Through firsthand involvement in local campaigns, students will develop their own view of the challenges facing workers in the modern economy and the role of worker justice in a larger social justice context. From these experiences, students contribute to the next generation of the worker justice movement.
This is a paid internship for Georgetown University students, where participants will work 10-15 hours per week with their community organization for the duration of the fall semester. Applications (new window) for Fall 2016 are due Thursday, September 15, 2016 by 11:59pm. Submit applications to Nick Wertsch at nmw9@georgetown.edu
