Congratulating CCHD on 50 Years of Service

The Kalmanovitz Initiative congratulates the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) on 50 years of work fighting poverty and inequality in the United States. This May, KI was a proud sponsor of CCHD’s 50th anniversary celebration which brought together grantees, faith leaders, and others who have been involved in and impacted by CCHD’s transformative programming.

We are grateful for CCHD’s ongoing support of workers and worker justice issues including their support for KI’s work to promote transformative relationships between workers and community organizations. Our partnership with CCHD is an important part of our identity and mission as an initiative of Georgetown University, the nation’s oldest Catholic and Jesuit university. We look forward to continuing to work with CCHD and their ongoing commitment to a faith that does justice.
