The Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor’s Labor Lab series brings scholars, writers, activists, and artists to Georgetown’s campus to reframe, rethink, and reenergize conversations about the future of workers and the labor movement. This month the Kalmanovitz Initiative, along with the GU Lecture Fund, is happy to host Cory Doctorow — a science fiction author, activist, journalist, and blogger — for a talk titled “Together, We Are Super-Human: How Technology Gives Communities Super Powers.”

Cory Doctorow (craphound.com ) is a science fiction author, activist, journalist and blogger — the co-editor of Boing Boing and the author of novels Pirate Cinema (Tor Teen, 2012), For the Win (2010) and the bestselling Little Brother (2008). He is the former European director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and co-founded the UK Open Rights Group. His latest novel is Homeland , the sequel to Little Brother.
