Job Opening: Director of Student and Community Relations – Kalmanovitz Initiative (KI) for Labor and the Working Poor – Georgetown University College of Arts and Sciences

The Director of Student and Community Relations conceives and directs all student programming, recruits and mentors participants in student programming from both Georgetown and other campuses, directs community engagement and advocacy efforts related to student programming, directs KI alternative spring break program and various student fellowship programs, directs KI’s Immigration and Labor Project, pursues funding in support of student programming and community outreach, and more. 

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to labor, economics, political economy, history, or politics;  experience in organizing, community liaison work, event coordination, and policy advocacy; experience with labor and community organizations, experience mentoring students and directing student internships. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Salary: $55,000, negotiable, with very good university benefits.
