Mabel Rodriguez (COL ’14) is an English major with a double minor in French and Government, originally from Houston, Texas. She is a WAGE (Women Advancing Gender Equity) Fellow and a Sexual Assault Peer Educator through the GU Women’s Center. Mabel became involved with the KI during her junior year when she participated in the WJDC ASB trip. In summer 2013, she interned at UNITE HERE’s Local 23 in Washington, DC, and Local 11 in Los Angeles, CA. She is a coordinator for the KI’s Day Laborer Exchange program.
Reggie Wiley (COL ’14) is from Houston, Texas. He is an English major and a Sociology and History minor. He has been a leader at the Center for Social Justice, including participating and leading Habitat for Humanity ASB trips and working for the DC Schools Project. He also tutors and mentors a 4th grade student from the Sursum Corda housing project and has worked as a teaching assistant at the Shaw Public Charter School. He is a member of the dance team Ritmo Y Sabor, a photographer for the multicultural newsmagazine The Fire This Time, and a former member of the Justice and Diversity in Action Living and Learning Community.
